Paludarium - Small
A compact living landscape where land and water meet in a single sculptural ecosystem.
The Small Paludarium combines tropical terrestrial plants, aquatic vegetation, moss, natural stone, wood, and a shallow water zone to create a layered composition with surprising depth for its size.
Carefully arranged transitions between planted land and water allow the ecosystem to feel continuous rather than divided, while contrasting textures and natural materials create movement throughout the composition.
Designed for smaller interiors, shelves, consoles, or dedicated display areas, the Small Paludarium brings the atmosphere of a waterside tropical environment into a compact format without sacrificing visual impact.
Each piece is individually composed by PaluVurse, with plant placement, hardscape structure, and the relationship between land and water carefully balanced for both aesthetics and long-term growth.
Size: 20 × 10 × 12 in
Style: Tropical / Land + Water
Plants: Live, hand-selected terrestrial and aquatic plants

Natural variation in plants, moss, stone, wood, texture, colour, and final composition ensures that every PaluVurse Paludarium is unique.
Signature Planting
A combined land-and-water composition containing 6 live plants:
4 humid terrestrial plants
2 aquatic plants
Plants are selected from the PaluVurse-approved terrestrial and aquatic plant library according to compatibility, mature size, specimen quality, availability and the final composition.
Terrestrial plants are installed wherever safe transportation allows. Aquatic plants are separately protected where required for transport.
Living Moss
Living terrestrial and wet-zone moss are incorporated into suitable areas of the composition to soften hardscape and create natural transitions between land and water.
Landscape & Hardscape
Humid terrestrial growing substrate
Drainage and structural layers
Aquatic base and substrate where required
Natural stone and sculptural rockwork
Prepared water-safe wood
Integrated land-to-water hardscape
Integrated shallow water zone
Water Circulation System
A concealed recirculating water system including:
Submersible circulation pump

Your PaluVurse Paludarium is designed as one integrated land-and-water composition. Terrestrial and aquatic plants are selected by PaluVurse according to compatibility, specimen quality, zone conditions, availability and the final design.
You may add 1 additional compatible plant to either the terrestrial or aquatic portion of the ecosystem. Terrestrial and aquatic additions share the same plant capacity.
Additional enhancements may include terrestrial or wet-zone moss, Additional Rockwork, Water-Safe Wood, Fogger System, Automatic Misting, Digital Thermo-Hygrometer, Freshwater Test Kit, Digital Water Thermometer and Paludarium care accessories.
Specific species selections, planting substitutions or major design changes are available through Custom Builds.
The PaluVurse Paludarium combines humid terrestrial planting with an aquatic environment and requires moderate routine care.
Follow the supplied PaluVurse care guide for watering, humidity, lighting, ventilation, pruning, water quality, cleaning, circulation, and equipment maintenance.
Keep pumps, waterfall channels, drainage areas, and water circulation pathways clean and unobstructed where applicable.
Maintain suitable conditions in both the terrestrial and aquatic zones.
Before introducing livestock, complete the required leak test, operational test, and biological cycling process. A functioning pump, waterfall, or clear water does not by itself mean that the Paludarium is biologically ready for animals.
Avoid:
Unsuitable water chemistry
Excessive or insufficient terrestrial watering
Blocked drainage or circulation pathways
Blocked, improperly operated, or dry-running pumps
Extreme temperatures or sudden temperature changes
Incompatible cleaners, treatments, or chemicals
Excessive biological load
Unauthorized repair, alteration, or structural modification
Moving or lifting the Paludarium while it contains water, substrate, hardscape, plants, or livestock
Place the ecosystem on a level, stable, water-resistant support capable of carrying its complete operating weight.
Delivery & Arrival
Your PaluVurse ecosystem is prepared as a completed living composition.
Plants, substrate, hardscape, and other landscape elements are installed wherever safe transportation allows. Any component requiring separate protection during shipment will be clearly identified and accompanied by setup instructions.
Final shipping method: To be confirmed.
When Your Ecosystem Arrives
Inspect the exterior packaging before opening.
Photograph any visible puncture, crushing, wetness, tilting, or other damage.
Carefully unpack the ecosystem.
Photograph the ecosystem and included components before setup.
Keep all packaging until the order has been fully inspected and confirmed.
Visible transportation damage: Report within 48 hours of delivery.
Concealed transportation damage or missing items: Report promptly after discovery, preferably within 7 days of delivery.
Plant concerns: Report within the applicable 14-day plant guarantee period.
These reporting periods help PaluVurse document and process transportation and warranty claims promptly. They do not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Cancellations
Standard PaluVurse Ecosystem orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided preparation or production has not already begun.
Because each ecosystem contains live plants and is individually prepared and assembled for the order, change-of-mind cancellations are not accepted once preparation or production has begun.
Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the living, fragile, and individually composed nature of PaluVurse ecosystems, delivered ecosystems and live plants are not returnable or exchangeable for change of mind.
This does not apply to products that arrive damaged, defective, materially different from the confirmed order, or otherwise qualify for a remedy under the PaluVurse Standard Ecosystem Limited Warranty or applicable consumer law.
Mandatory consumer rights under applicable provincial or territorial law remain unaffected.
12-Month PaluVurse Limited Warranty
Standard PaluVurse Ecosystems include a 12-month written limited warranty covering eligible defects in PaluVurse-supplied materials, fabrication, assembly, seals, installed components, and PaluVurse workmanship under normal use and proper care.
Plant Guarantee
Live plants include a 14-day arrival and establishment guarantee.
Photographs and compliance with the supplied PaluVurse care instructions may be required to assess a plant claim.
Where replacement is appropriate, PaluVurse may provide the same plant when reasonably available or a biologically appropriate substitute of comparable value.
Third-Party Equipment
Third-party equipment is subject to the applicable manufacturer warranty, if any.
PaluVurse separately covers eligible defects resulting from its own installation or connection of that equipment for 12 months.
Exclusions
The written warranty does not cover loss, damage, or failure caused or materially contributed to by circumstances including:
Impact, breakage, accident, misuse, or neglect
Improper or insufficient support
Moving or relocating an ecosystem while improperly supported or while containing materials that should have been removed before transport
Thermal shock, freezing, excessive heat, or other unsuitable environmental conditions
Incorrect setup or unsuitable care
Incompatible cleaners, chemicals, fertilizers, plants, animals, or equipment
Unauthorized repair, alteration, or structural modification
Failure to perform required routine maintenance
An exclusion applies only to the extent that the excluded event caused or contributed to the reported issue.
Natural Variation
Every PaluVurse ecosystem is individually composed using living plants and natural materials.
Plants, stone, wood, substrate, colour, texture, markings, grain, shape, size, and final arrangement naturally vary between ecosystems.
Website photographs are representative of the design character and overall composition unless a specific specimen is expressly identified.
Normal plant acclimatization, limited leaf loss, natural weathering, plant growth, and ordinary biological changes are not defects by themselves.
Consumer Rights
This written warranty is additional to any mandatory legal or implied warranties applicable in the purchaser’s province or territory.
Mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain unaffected.
